General Terms and Conditions for MeinHomestudio.de
1. Scope of Application
These terms and conditions apply to the following activities:
MeinHomestudio.de is a modern German-language platform for music production, owned by Mr. Paul Marx. As a user, you will find numerous articles, videos, video courses, books, an exclusive member area, virtual instruments, effects, and downloads related to all aspects of music production.
Our business model operates in the B2C sector, meaning it is aimed exclusively at consumers.
A consumer is any natural person under § 13 BGB who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession. An entrepreneur is any natural or legal person or legal partnership under § 14 BGB acting in the exercise of their trade or profession.
We offer effective learning materials on topics such as home studio setup, composition/beat making, Cubase, Cubasis, Reaper, songwriting, recording, mixing, mastering, room acoustics, and general music production. Many resources are free and accessible to users. Other products are sold via third-party platforms:
Paperbacks and e-books via Amazon.com
Online and downloadable video courses as well as DVDs via digistore24.com, Audio-Workshop.net, or DVD-Lernkurs.de
Virtual instruments for HALion Sonic SE and audio effects for Native Instruments Reaktor via Digistore24.com
Upon successful purchase, the user receives a download link via email.
We offer a member area with two types of membership: Free Member (free of charge) and Pro Member (paid subscription via Digistore24.com). Payment is monthly or semi-annual and cancellable at any time. During registration, you provide your name, email address, and password, and agree to these terms. This also creates a WordPress user account and subscribes you to the MeinHomestudio.de newsletter (with your consent). You can manage the newsletter settings in your member area under "Settings." Subscription to the newsletter is required for using the member area, as various membership contents are sent via email. Deleting your account also deletes your WordPress account and newsletter subscription.
In our blog, we deal with music production. We also sell digital products through third-party providers such as Amazon or Digistore24.com, including e-books, video courses, virtual instruments, audio effects, and books.
We also provide a free and paid member area, requiring registration. For that, we collect your name, email, a self-chosen username (which will be displayed in the forum), and password. Registering also subscribes you to our newsletter, which you may cancel at any time.
We also offer affiliate links for marketing purposes, through which we may receive commissions for linked third-party products — with no additional cost to you. Cookies are set locally in this context. In addition, many digital files (PDFs, virtual instruments, audio files, etc.) are available for free download.
Recently, our exclusive member area includes a Producer Forum where users can:

share products via the internet (e.g., file sharing)
imitate, resell, rent, or use them for commercial purposes
